Privacy policy

Puppreneur (“Puppreneur,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Hey Genie, LLC, the company behind puppreneur.com and the wider Puppreneur family of dog products (such as Dog Week, Pup Scroll, and PuppyDoc). Hey Genie, LLC is the data controller responsible for the information described below. This policy explains what puppreneur.com — our public operator hub — collects and how we handle it.

What we collect

puppreneur.com is an informational hub. It has no consumer account creation and no payment processing. We do not ask visitors to sign up or to give us personal details.

We collect basic visitor analytics through PostHog to understand how the site is used. This includes pageviews, device and browser type, an IP-derived approximate location (city/region level, not a precise address), and a first-party analytics cookie/identifier used to count repeat visits. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

Our /admin area is a restricted, authenticated, operator-only console for Hey Genie staff. It is not consumer-facing, and the general public cannot access it.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We use a small set of trusted providers to run our infrastructure. They process data only on our behalf:

• PostHog — visitor analytics
• Vercel — website hosting
• Supabase — database
• Resend — email delivery

The Puppreneur family

Hey Genie, LLC operates a family of products that share operational infrastructure (for example, one database project organized by product and one analytics organization). Limited operational data may be shared across the family within this shared infrastructure, always under Hey Genie, LLC’s control. We do not sell your data.

Cookies, legal basis, and opting out

We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site. Analytics use a first-party cookie/identifier. You can opt out of analytics by enabling “Do Not Track” or a tracking-blocker in your browser, or by clearing cookies for this site. The hub remains fully usable with analytics blocked.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the limited data we hold. To make a request, email jorge@puppreneur.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. We keep analytics data only as long as needed to understand site usage, and we retain it in aggregate or de-identified form where practical.

Children

puppreneur.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact
